National Honor Society
Grades 9-12

National Honor Society Members inducted 9 new members!
Members of the Red Bird chapter of the National Honor Society helped prepare and hide over 1500 eggs for our elementary students! Thankful to Bell-Whitley ASAP and parents for helping fund event.

WHAT IS S.T.E.A.M.?

The educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

E-STEAM

E-STEAM provides students the support to share business ideas and turn it into economic opportunities for themselves and a service to the community. Opportunities include Coding Camp hosted at Red Bird during summer months.

Spanish Club

This year, Spanish Club students visited Puerto Rico!

Our first 4-H Art Show!  

18  Elementary, 6 Middle School, and 1 High School Student participated this year.
​7 Grand Champion entries qualify to be entered in Kentucky State Fair.

We are looking forward to expanding this opportunity for our students.

Service: Young Men in Action

This group of young men have been working alongside Mr. Lundy and Mr. Nate Smallwood to improve the school in various and important ways: repairing desks, cabinets and shelves, playground equipment, and helped unpack and assemble new hydroponic planters to be used in next year’s Agriculture STEAM classes. They fellas have made a big difference AND had fun in the process!
