Sports

Red Bird Christian School offers a variety of athletic programs and extracurricular activities to promote teamwork, discipline, and school spirit. Our programs encourage student participation, skill development, and sportsmanship while fostering a sense of community.

Basketball

Basketball is one of the most popular sports at Red Bird Christian School, with both boys’ and girls’ teams competing at a high level. Our teams focus on skill development, teamwork, and competitive play, participating in regional and state-level competitions.

Volleyball

Our girls’ volleyball team emphasizes teamwork, communication, and strategy. Players develop their skills in serving, passing, setting, and spiking while competing against other schools in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Our Elem/MS Volleyball team had a phenomenal year this year. The girls worked hard all season and our B-Team Girls finished as Runners-Up in the 13th Region All A District Tournament!

Baseball

Baseball at Red Bird Christian School allows students to showcase their athletic ability, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Players work on fundamental skills like hitting, pitching, and fielding while competing in league play.

Softball

Our softball program provides student-athletes with opportunities to develop their skills, build friendships, and engage in competition. Players focus on teamwork, batting, pitching, and fielding techniques throughout the season.

Tee Ball

Cheerleading

Our cheerleading squad plays a vital role in promoting school spirit and supporting our athletic teams. Cheerleaders perform at games and events, engaging the crowd with dynamic routines, stunts, and enthusiasm.

Outdoor Adventure Club

Mr. and Mrs. Nate and Akela Smallwood took their Outdoor Adventure Club on two spectacular outdoor adventures. First to Cumberland Falls State Park and then to Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.

Cross Country/Track

The cross country/track team challenges students to push their limits with endurance running. Athletes train on various terrains to build stamina and mental toughness while competing in meets against other schools.

13 athletes have set personal records this season for track. Many of them set Personal Records in both of their events. One athlete, Skyleigh Davidson-7th grade, broke the school record for the girls’ 800m race at her very first track meet. She then broke her own record at the next meet!

Archery

The archery team is a precision-based sport that challenges students to develop focus, patience, and accuracy. Participants compete in local and state tournaments, aiming to refine their shooting skills and sportsmanship.

Soccer

Our intramural soccer program allows students to develop fundamental skills and enjoy friendly competition in a structured yet fun environment. Players focus on teamwork, strategy, and physical fitness while engaging in exciting matches.
